Summary
Join our team as a Production Associate! We’re looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Grader, you’ll play a crucial role in our grading department by grading and separating A grade whole birds from downgrade whole birds. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and lift 50 pounds repetively. This is a full-time, day shift position working Monday-Friday 6:30 am-7 pm.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Remain in a stationary position on a metal textured, non-slip, 1-inch stand at a 36-inch table. Reaching and leaning 12-18 inches to position bird to be graded.
- Separate the A grades from the downgrades.
- Separate the A grades from the downgrades.
- Repetively lift whole birds up to 45-50 pounds.
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent not required but preferred.
Experience Requirements

- Experience in protein processing/manufacturing preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
When in a plant environment:
- Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
- May work in an environment with varying temperatures between 28 degrees and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May handle product varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
- Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
