Summary
Drive sourcing excellence and deliver measurable business value through data-driven procurement strategies. As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will support complex sourcing initiatives across priority categories by leveraging advanced analytics, market intelligence, and sourcing tools to identify opportunities, inform negotiations, and optimize commercial outcomes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve sourcing effectiveness, enhance visibility into opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who excels at turning data into actionable insights, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to a high-performing procurement organization.
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Build request for proposals and request for quotation materials, supplier lists, pricing templates, and sourcing data packs for complex events.

Analyze supplier bids, run scenarios, and synthesize trade-offs to support decision-making.

Prepare negotiation fact packs with benchmarks, cost breakdowns, and opportunity insights.

Support contract administration for urgent needs.

Clean, structure, and validate spend data to ensure accuracy and usability.

Translate data into clear insights, including consolidation opportunities, price variances, and savings opportunities.

Maintain recurring reporting on spending, supplier performance inputs, and sourcing outcomes.

Conduct supplier research, cost benchmarking, and market analysis to inform sourcing decisions.

Develop basic cost models and fact packs to support negotiations.

Package insights in clear, decision-oriented formats for category teams.

Identify sourcing opportunities using spend, contract, and supplier data.

Track sourcing initiative status, timelines, and inputs to value reporting.

Support governance cadence materials and reporting accuracy.

Maintain documentation to support portfolio visibility and prioritization.

Deploy and tailor sourcing templates, models, and playbooks for real category use cases.

Support rollout and day-to-day use of sourcing platforms and tools in live events.

Capture user feedback and continuously improve tools, templates, and usability.

Act as a first line of support for sourcing-related process questions.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management.

Experience supporting request for proposal and request for quotation events, supplier evaluations, and contract workflows.
Preferred Education and Experience

Strong project coordination, organization, and cycle-time discipline.

Analytical skills (bid analysis, basic cost models, Excel proficiency).

Clear written/verbal communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Comfort working in sourcing tools/ERPs and learning new systems quickly.
