Summary
The Transformation Management Office (TMO) drives Perdue’s enterprise-wide transformation strategy, enabling sustainable competitive advantage through process, technology and organizational change. As a Senior Change Manager, you will lead the people side of transformation. Creating and executing strategies that maximize adoption, minimize resistance, and build lasting change capability. Partnering with project teams and business leaders, you’ll ensure initiatives are embraced and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.
This role will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to design and execute change strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and alignment across multiple programs and business units. Oversee and manage external consulting partners to ensure alignment with program objectives, deliverables, and performance standards throughout the transformation.
This position will report to the Director of Change Management within the Transformation Management Office and is based in Salisbury, Maryland. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Occasional travel may be necessary to support project activities
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the development, design, and execution of all workstream level change strategies across Learning, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications, and Leader Alignment.
- Collaborate with Workstream Leads and Project Managers to ensure alignment and effective execution across all transformation initiatives.
- Own and drive business specific change plans to ensure the journey is relevant and tailored to each business area/team impacted by the change.
- Evaluate adoption across business areas impacted by the change and adjust change plans as needed.
- Identify and manage all relevant stakeholder groups, build relationships and understanding in support of a more enhanced change experience.
- Oversee Change Champion Network engagement and coordination to build momentum around the change.
- Train and upskill team members in Change Management strategy to build additional capabilities within and across wider change team.
- Provide a creative approach to developing, planning, and executing innovative change strategies specifically tailored to meet the need of the business area impacted.
- Build relationships and confidence to influence at a senior level, both inside and outside of the organization.
- Analyze complex data to define the change impact and associated change interventions required in the change plan.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred, in; Communications, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Human Resources, Leadership or other related area
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years managing change initiatives at scale, ideally within a large or complex organization
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with responsibility for guiding and developing a team
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Working knowledge of MS Project an asset
- Experience of designing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Experience in leading engagement change efforts.
- Experience working within large, complex organizations and collaborating across multiple stakeholders and partner organizations to drive effective communications and alignment.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and proven experience of managing risks and issues to mitigate potential obstacles.
- Extensive working knowledge of the principles and practices of effective Change Management and Project Management, Prosci certification is preferred.
- Proven track record successfully leading teams, with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate others to achieve results.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in the poultry and agriculture commodities industry
Experience Preferred
- Extensive working knowledge of the principles and practices of effective Change Management and Project Management, Prosci certification is preferred.
- The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing large-scale change programs with system implementation components, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at all levels.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
