Summary
The Research and Development Specialist will provide support for the formulation and tech team to monitor quality control, implement formulation changes and support research and feed evaluation needs. To provide support for product development and university research projects.
The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the QC/QA program for PAB AN:
- Prepare weekly ingredients and product quality control reports
- Maintain nutrient matrixes within formulation software
- Execute testing schedules at our facilities for raw ingredients and finished products
- Maintain databases on ingredient and product formulation;
- Manage ingredient supplier:
- Manage TraceGain relationship for Animal Nutrition
- Maintain an approved supplier list with all relevant information and update on an annualized basis
- Work in coordination with Supply Chain, Formulation, Blending Facilities and Tech Services
- Monitor R and D and Tech Services projects:
- Manage with implementing, tracking, and executing research projects that could relate to QC/QA, and research with outside entities
- Monitor and assist with project payments and budgeting
- Assist with the coordination of research facilities;
- Administrative support of activities for the R&D and Tech Service team:
- Understand all aspects of Concept5 formulation software
- Development and maintenance of product tags, registration, and specs
- Coordinate all regulatory functions with help/direction from Perdue Quality Assurance Group
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of related experience. Experience in software applications required.
