Summary

Utilize SAP to balance inventories, manifest outbound shipments and complete the posting of inbound receipts at 3PL locations.   Monitor overall inventory movements to include OS&Ds, QA hold and mis rotated/aged product. Facilitate movement of goods to  internal and external customers and coordinate daily shipping schedules to match capacity for assigned facility. Must display strong skills in analytics, problem solving and critical thinking.

 

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a balanced inventory at assigned 3PL locations.
  • Complete all reported manual inventory adjustments that include overages/shortages, lost/found and damaged inventory.  
  • Monitor and track all QA held inventory - work with QA teams for disposition.
  • Monitor and track aging & mis rotated inventory – work with 3PLs and sales for a plan.
  • Work closely with all 3PL inventory/shipping teams. 
  • Accept additional tasks given by management that could include: order routing, appointment scheduling and completing shipment orders changes directed by sales.

Education

Required:   4-year degree or 2-year degree with minimum 5 years Logistics/Transportation Experience  

Preferred:  4-year degree in Business Related field.

Experience Requirements

  • 5 years Logistics/Transportation Experience 
  • Strong systems aptitude and must be proficient to Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis in Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

Pay range

The salary range for this position is $56k-$69k per year and overtime eligible, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).
