Summary

Join our team as an Associate Master Data Analyst and play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data that drives our business forward. In this role, you’ll support operations by managing, monitoring, and analyzing customer and vendor master data while helping to build automated workflows and processes within our data management platform. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold data governance standards and partner with leadership to deliver projects that enhance data quality and compliance. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Ensure the quality of master data in key systems, as well as governance. Assists in the development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, document and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
  • Analyze and resolve data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and vendor requirements while adhering to published data standards.
  • Assist the Senior Analyst and department Manager and make independent decisions for resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements
  • Assist in the execution of a formal Data governance program enterprise wide.
  • Collaborate with organizational SME’s in Foods, Corp and Agribusiness and other companies for developing standards.

 

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–3 years of experience in Data Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • May require on-call or off hours for projects or break-fix issues.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
