SUMMARY
Use standard tools to repair modules and other live haul equipment including trailers so that the live haul operation
will be safe and productive
PRINCIPAL AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Describe below the major responsibilities of this position which must be fulfilled with or without
reasonable accommodations in order to achieve the essential purpose of this position.
1. Repair inoperable modules. Identify and replace parts as needs
2. Identify damage and the party responsible daily. Complete module repair log for each repair made
3. Identify and repair inoperable trailer functions if possible on site
4. Work to help uncover trailers during all seasons. Make trailer seasonal changes (tarps).
5. Maintain module and trailer parts needed on inventory. Keep work area clean
6. Drive forklift for moving equipment around to make necessary. Man lift use is also required
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (include any specialized or technical
knowledge, certifications, credentials or licensing required for this position)
REQUIRED: Reading and analytical skills. Light mechanical ability to repair and replace non-working parts. Forklift
operation.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Exposed to all weather temperatures as season dictated must wear required protective equipment as position
requires
2. Ability to move throughout live haul area
3. Must be able to work on different surfaces, wet and dry, level and unlevel surfaces and different heights.
4. Must be able to climb onto forklifts, tractor, trailers other equipment, ladders, etc.
5. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
