Summary
Keep our shipping operations accurate, organized, and running at peak performance as a Shipping Inventory Clerk. In this role, you will maintain inventory accuracy by researching and correcting variances, tracking daily inventory performance, and monitoring distressed products. You will prepare and verify load manifests, investigate discrepancies, and ensure all shipping documentation is completed and properly filed. Working closely with shipping management and clerks, you will help keep products moving efficiently and ensure every order is accounted for from dock to destination. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast paced, team driven environment.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Count all products in cooler accurately; by date code & product code, following the established cycle count requirements & timelines.
- Match physical inventory with SAP/CFS inventory.
- Make necessary adjustments to obtain desired 99 % accuracy. Report adjustments daily.
- Validate that all physical inventory found in coolers have not been assigned to a load.
- Scan customer specific product without orders, to push location in CFS.
- Coordinate daily reporting, inventories and disposition of donations, employee sales and distressed products.
- Pallet jack license able to move pallets if needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Minimum Education and Experience
- 1 year of experience.
- Reading, Writing, Math and analytical skills are required.
- Familiar with the use of a computer, basics of Microsoft Office, organizational skills, shipping and receiving procedures including the use of a Scan Gun, professional attitude, data entry, SAP, CFS and YMS.
- Credentials or licensing required for pallet jack and forklift operations.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Exposure to 28-65-degree temperatures, with ambient humidity; noise exposure 95.2 dB; chlorinated water 200 PPM; standing, reaching, and occasional bending, stooping, lifting within specified guidelines.
- Must be able to use standard office equipment such as; telephone, keyboard, calculator, fax machine and copier.
- Must wear personal protective equipment including bump hat, ear protection, safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves.
