Summary

Support a positive and responsive workplace by helping associates navigate their day-to-day HR needs. As an Associate Relations Clerk, you will serve as a first point of contact for employees, providing support with benefits, PTO, and general inquiries while ensuring accurate and timely record maintenance. In this role, you will help create a supportive environment by delivering reliable assistance and clear communication throughout the employee experience. This position is ideal for a detail oriented, people focused professional who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and contributing to a strong and engaged workplace.

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Be the first point of contact for associates with regards to questions regarding benefits, PTO, or other general questions.

· Track associate attendance, for Benefit Group 4 associates, extract data from KRONOS, verify accuracy with management, enter verified data into HR database, prepare attendance counseling sheets, obtain associates’ supervisor and appropriate HR representative’s signatures and file in the associates’ personnel file.

· Coordinate with the Staffing Recruiter/Interviewer to ensure that all new hire paperwork is complete prior to New Hire Orientation.

· Coordinate with the Staffing Recruiter/Interviewer on termination activity. Enter accurate termination details into MyPearl.

· Utilize all HR reporting tools, i.e., PTO accruals, benefit data, other required reports, to perform audits and generate reports.

· Work with Associate Relations Representative to improve processes and efficiencies.

 

Minimum Education and Experience

· Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. Or 0 - 1 years related work experience in absence of an Associate’s Degree.

· Total work experience must equal 4 years.

· Experience using an HR/Payroll database system.

· Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities.

· Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, experience in multi-tasking and ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Must be able to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or Company business.

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

· Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

· May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

· May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

· Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

· Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

· May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.

· May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

· May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

· May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facility.

· Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
