Join our team as a Paws Line Lead on the 3rd Shift! We’re looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Paws Line Lead, you’ll supervise, train, and coordinate line associates, and maintain acurate production records in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct regular checks to ensure product meets USDA and company quality specifications (e.g., proper evisceration, minimal contamination, quality of paws)
Monitor the team's adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures to prevent workplace injuries
Identify and quickly troubleshoot minor equipment issues or jams (e.g., shackles, cones, automated cutters)
Act as the key point of contact between the production line and the Production Supervisor/Manager
Communicate performance metrics, quality issues, employee concerns, and maintenance needs effectively and timely

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent beneficial but not required

Experience Preferred

Six months of steady work history is preferred
Line Lead/Supervisory experience preferred

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

When in a plant environment:

Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity
May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 db
May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility
You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm
Able to stand for several hours.
Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
