Summary

Be the welcoming and organized force that keeps our Customer Service and Administrative teams running smoothly. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, assist with daily office operations, and serve as a professional and friendly point of contact for calls and communications. You will use your Microsoft Office skills and clerical experience to help manage information, support team initiatives, and contribute to both short term and long-term departmental goals. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, energetic professional who enjoys multitasking, supporting team success, and playing an active role in the Company’s safety culture and workplace excellence.

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and re-direct to appropriate departments.
  • Coordinate data input to Excel worksheets daily.
  • Pack and schedule FedEx shipments daily.
  • Responsible for office supply orders and distribution.
  • Balance spreadsheets daily.
  • Monitor front area and kitchen area and ensure cleanliness.
  • Monitor the plants in the Reception Area and water as necessary.
  • Maintain Visitor Logs.
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to rapid changes and work well under limited supervision.
  • Maintain the Rosie Room Schedule and book conference calls online.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Support and participate in Company and department safety program.
  • Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.

 

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general poultry husbandry procedures.
  • Ability to collect data and prepare reports.
  • Must be computer literate, specifically with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be comfortable working with numbers and able to use a 10 key calculator.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree preferred but not required.

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists and hands.
  • Ability to use hands to feel objects, tools and controls.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50-pound boxes and materials regularly.
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, and climb, balance, stoops, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must have close and distance vision and ability to distinguish colors.
