Summary
Join our Human Resources team as an HR Administrator and play a key role in bringing great talent into our organization. In this collaborative and hands-on role, you’ll partner closely with the Recruitment team to support daily and weekly hiring goals while gaining exposure across multiple areas of Human Resources. You’ll have opportunities to cross-train, support a variety of HR functions, and help deliver engaging new hire orientations that set associates up for success. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate / Conduct new hire orientation in various languages.
- Conduct Safety Presentations when needed.
- Meet / Greet visitors in the lobby.
- Assist with benefits meetings.
- Aid with translation.
- Document daily call outs on call in log.
- Interview applicants, schedule applicants, conduct interviews, prepare / extend offers, etc.
- Complete necessary system training including Success Factors, ADP, DNA, etc.
- Prepare / create IDs for associates.
- Process documentation, scanning, and filing of office paperwork.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Have a minimum of 6 months consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School or equivalent not required but beneficial.
- Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment preferred.
- Bilingual in Creole or Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
- Work in temperatures ranging from 35 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit, with ambient humidity, at a specified rate, work up to two hours in a single interval, with a normal maximum of 6 hours per shift.
- Ability to remain stationary on a stand and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Exposure to wet surfaces and chlorinated water less than 20 ppm.
- Must wear personal protective equipment.
