Summary

Support reliable operations by planning and coordinating maintenance activities that keep electrical systems running at peak performance. As an Electrical Planner, you will develop and manage maintenance schedules, align resources, and ensure work is planned efficiently to minimize downtime and support production needs. You will partner closely with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize work, improve processes, and drive consistency in execution. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys planning, problem solving, and contributing to safe, efficient facility operations.

 

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule routine, preventive and predictive electrical activities to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets.
  • Provide technical planning and scheduling support for electrical activities.
  • Develop, prepare and distribute electrical management reports.
  • Provide data and information for budget preparation, tracking, and analysis.
  • Perform trend and cost analysis for venders and electrical projects.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with all Federal, State and Local safety and environmental requirements.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

 

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a journeymen electrician.
  • Understanding of standard software applications.
  • Understanding manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical skills.
  • Strong communication, math, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
  • RS Logics 5,500 and 5000 ladder logic.
  • Allen Bradley PLC hardware components and set up including PLC 5, SLC 500, Compact Logics, and Control Logics platforms.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Industrial Technology, or Electronics.

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Able to move freely throughout the Agribusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150').
  •  Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db – hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
  • Required to travel to remote Agribusiness facilities.

Able to use standard office equipment.
